Workshops Overview
Workshop 1 | The Power of Her
“The Power of Her” is a workshop designed to help women build confidence, clarity, and control over their financial lives. Through education and meaningful conversation, participants gain insight, practical tools, and re assurance to make informed decisions aligned with their values, priorities, and long-term goals.
The message is balancing and enjoying life and still planning responsibly for the future. Major life change and looking for the right steps to take.
Led By: Michele Santos, Senior Wealth Advisor at Wellington-Altus Private Wealth
Workshop 2 | Honouring the Shift: Women’s Wisdom in Life’s Transitions
This 90-minute workshop offers women a reflective, supportive space to explore peri-menopause and menopause as a meaningful life transition. Drawing from ways of knowing and teachings passed through families and communities, participants are invited to notice how these changes touch the body, emotions, and spirit — and how they have traditionally been acknowledged and honoured.
Through gentle reflection and conversation, participants can simply relax and observe. The workshop emphasises balance — caring for self while inviting partners, family, and community to witness and support the journey.
This session honours the wisdom inherent in this stage of life and encourages women to recognise and celebrate the gifts, insight, and clarity that emerge as we move through change together.

Workshop 3 | Indigenous Beading
Crystal’s home-based business In Her Footsteps Authentic Dene Designs was built one bead at a time and, as an artist for Manitobah Mukluks, her pieces continue to sell out. A pair of Crystal’s beaded mukluks were part of an exhibit entitled Reconciliation at Two Rivers Gallery in 2019. Crystal has received accolades for her work including a scholarship to Island Mountain Arts, people’s choice award and chosen award at the Peace Liard Juried Art Exhibit.
