9th NATION2NATION

ANNUAL FORUM

October 21-23, 2025 | Kitimat, BC

ABOUT THE FORUM

More than ever, First Nation leaders are taking control over their economic futures by partnering with industry and government to develop Indigenous-led projects that align with their social, environmental, community and cultural objectives.

Major projects continue to prompt public dialogue regarding ‘duty to consult’, ‘best practices', and ‘celebrating success stories’ in industry and First Nations partnerships.

“Stronger Economies”

This fall, Nation2Nation is moving its annual 3 day Forum from Terrace to Kitimat, BC, home of the traditional territory of the Haisla First Nation. The 9th Nation2Nation Annual Forum will continue the conversation on economic development from a First Nations perspective and engage the audience in dialogue about the topics that are important to our Northwest Communities and beyond.

The Forum offers three full days of incredible speakers, panel discussions and workshops. Additionally, Nation2Nation highlights the local communities through Community Tours and Social Events that provide spaces for informal connection and relationship building. A Boat Tour along the Channel on Wednesday afternoon provides an incredible opportunity to network while viewing some important developments such as HaiSea’s LNG and electricity-fueled tugboats, the future Cedar LNG site and more.

Join us as we explore innovative solutions and collaborative approaches to ensuring our communities and businesses remain strong, and grow stronger, amidst a rapidly changing economic landscape.

As always, we will continue the conversation on projects in the Northwest and beyond and on how to build an equitable and sustainable future from an Indigenous perspective. Our panels, speakers and workshops will allow you to engage with thought leaders and industry experts to discuss how innovation, collaboration, and partnerships can drive economic strength and create new opportunities for all.
